This is interesting. I wonder why he's so concerned with al kebab when Isis is closer to him. If the Arab nations strongly wants to undermine Ethiopias influence in Eastern Africa then they are our allies. I'm quite surprised by this. I wanna be happy but at the same time I can't help but wonder what the outcome will look like. I don't trust England and I have little to no knowledge of Jordan. Does anyone else have more insight

If that's the case then we have a common interest. It would not do us any good if Ethiopia becomes more powerful. I really hope the wealthy sates in the Arab league quickly realizes what's at stake. If the Red Sea is controlled by Arabs and Aden by Somalia a lot of power could emerge.

Arab has this hate relationship with Ethiopia for example Ethiopia or Abyssinia occupied the Arabia for 50 years invaded them and humiliated. There is this old myth that end of Saudi is habashi people at end of time habashi will invade Saudi and will break down the Kaaba and already habashi tried before to break down Kaaba during Abraha time. Plus bab el mandeb where 80% of trade of world goes it. They don't want Iran in Red Sea and passing weapons to Yemen.

I rather have a weird alliance with the Arab states if that would mean more protection and sovereignty to Somalia. The Arab leagues control of the Red Sea would benefit us.

Southerners have to sort out their own house by themselves. Jordan, UK, Nigeria,
Sierra Leone, Uganda, Burundi etc can't. Expecting others to do everything for you
