Riots in Awdal

Dilla district has been shut down by the local Samaroon jilib of Reer Maxamuud Nuur. There's currently riots and roadblocks have been made on the road connecting Borama and Hargeisa. The traffic between the two cities has been completely halted.

This happened after a Samaroon commander named Khadar (from Dilla) was shot dead by his own HJ soldier at Barisle 'navy' base in Lowyacado of Saylac district. The commander who was apart of the coastal guard was killed after a verbal dispute between him and his soldier leading to the soldier firing 5 shots and killing Khadar and taking control of the base afterwards until a contingent of forces went in Lowyacado to capture him. This happened yesterday and his body was taken to a hospital in Borama.

Commander Khadar. Allahu uu Naxariisto.

I don't know why these blood thirsty animals are allocated to be soldiers in lands far away from theirs. They've always got problems with the locals calling the shots. Samaroon subclan called Bahabar Celi kidnapped a HJ in Lowyacado area months ago because he was moving out of line and was released afterwards.

And they seem to get involved in our internal affairs with Ciise. It's possible the HJ soldier got angry at the Commander and killed him because that same Bahabar Celi subclan of Samaroon have had skirmishes with Ciise for the past few days and kicked them out from four villages and the commander possibly stood by.

Locals are currently convening on what action to take whilst the roads are being blocked.

What happened was that a Reer Nuur commander in Lawyacado was shot by a low level soldier hailing from the HJ clan who was recently stationed there. There is serious unrest now in, the roads are closed off, local militias are trying to kidnap the soldier who is in prison and says he will not be allowed to be relocated elsewhere. The local militia of the commander are arming themselves.

It's interesting that all of this is happening a few days before the grand conference in Sheed Dheer. Let's see how all of this unfolds.

Could this be the beginning of a blue revolution in Awdal? I know there is a serious campaign from certain quarters to start one and this just might be the spark they were hoping for. I hope Samaroon use their senses and act in their own interests.

Awdal themselves are not serious, they violated Ugaaska guud a few years ago when they prevented his entry to Awdal.

It's a big mistake enraging the largest Samaroon subclan. Whoever has the culprit in their custody should do what's best for both sides and kill the culprit infront of RN.

Haday Reer Nuur kacaan, maba fadhistaan.

Not sure about the blue revolution but we will see what comes out of the Samaroon gathering tomorrow. This situation will be brought up and a solution will be given if it isn't sorted by the end of today.
