It depends what type of genres your into, if your into science fiction, action, thriller, mystery, historical novels; Im your person. :rejoice:

- [SCIFI] The Loneliest Girl In The Universe by Lauren James (futuristic space travel). Idk your age but it might be just a tad bit to the teenager side

- [THRILLER] Noble Conflict by Malorie blackman (all of her books are so good Im proud to say she came from my town/area)

- [MYSTERY] The Word is Murder by Anthony Horowitz (Also another TOP author! His adult books are very very very good)

- [HISTORICAL FICTION] Salt to the Sea. Ruta Sepetys. (this is a controversial one but I genuinely enjoyed this book. People dont really like this book though whenever Ive recommended it)

-[HISTORICAL FICTION] The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (Andulasian adventures. Very spiritual book. I rate it 8.5/10)

@Espaa_ I read the alchemist, I’m gonna read salt of the sea next, also @Taintedlove i found the book you were talking about it’s called the Fortune Men, based of the true story of Mahmood Hussein mattan, who was wrongfully executed for the murder of lily volpert.

but the book was good, I do have some piece of criticism tho, it’s very short and I don’t really like the authors writing style, the characters are way too one dimensional and lack in depth writing, Also the dynamics between characters are, once again, very one dimensional and bland, the

i did like the message and the quotes tho, , and it was fun to read santiagos journey, so I do like it, I would give it as 6 maybe 7 out of 10

I hear it. It was one of the first adult books I ever read as a kid so it holds a sentimental value to me. I agree the romance aspect of it was so dead. A 6 is a solid score😭🙏. Im glad you somewhat enjoyed it❤️

Salt to the sea is definitely much better and I think you will enjoy that book more. Thats another book sentimental to me😭.
One thing I do warn is that the chapters are quite short in length and it flicks from person to person each chapter.

Anyway Im lacking books to read at the moment. Do you have any recommendations you could give me? Everyone else reading feel free to also recommend me some books too

I already started reading salt to the sea, the writing style :hova: but I’m still gonna keep reading it. Also i don’t read books that often lol that’s why I ask you for recommendations :yloezpe: because I wanted to start reading more, I’m sorry abayo, maybe you can ask someone else,

Alright I could suggest another book. Abayo what is your age range [you dont have to specify just say if your young adult or a teen or an older person] and what type of things you would like in a book. Maybe romance or maybe something idk. I could get something for you

Older teen (16-18) , I like historical novels with a fictional twist, good story+ good character arcs that really pull you in, also I don’t like romance.

i had to go deep into my goodreads to find a historical fiction book. Its not really a teen book but I literally cried with this book. Its a thousand splendid suns by Khaled Hosseini. Its very popular so i think you might have heard it of it. Its worth a read though and it hits deep
