those are supply trucks. it is a smart move by the Ukrainians. it is probably the USA that are providing them with intel and forming their plans for them.

But in the long run, all of this will backfire on the Ukrainians. Russia now is doing what they do best surrounded a city bomb it and lay a siege. if the Ukrainians break the siege by targeting supplies of the Russian troops. the Russians will just carpet bomb the whole of Ukraine back to the stone age. no more precision bombing it will be indiscriminate bombing.

no matter what outcome, Ukraine will lose in the end. they can lose in a way where their country is not wrecked or in a way where not even one building is left standing.
