Has Russias blitzkrieg attempt failed or are they destroying the Ukraine from the air? If they control the airspace there is no need for on ground intervention by Russian ground forces. Whats the point if Russia annihilates all Ukrainian air defence? It will demoralize Ukraine totally and eventually make them surrender.

Ground troops wont be needed now, airbases have already been disabled. You think Ukraine stands a chance now? All their ports have been targetted. Where will they get their supplies? Poland can only do so much
