Russia-Ukraine War

That was insane to read, this type of speech is going to be in the history books
This part is chilling :mjkkk:

I would now like to say something very important for those who may be tempted to interfere in these developments from the outside. No matter who tries to stand in our way or all the more so create threats for our country and our people, they must know that Russia will respond immediately, and the consequences will be such as you have never seen in your entire history.

What an amazing speech :banderas:

The speech was illuminating, however, I think Putin has been at the helm for far too long and his actions will permanently weaken Russia.

I still don't know how Russia allowed Ukraine to be pulled from its orbit in 2014; Putin's puppet was wholly ill-suited for the task.

and allowing NATO to arm Ukraine with nukes to use against Russia wouldn't weaken Russia? if your enemy nukes you, you win?

turks and russians have been adversaries for centuries before colonialism. it would be dumb for erdogen to support russia in the black sea area. theyre also adversaries in syria. and theyre also adversaries in the armenia-azerbaijan conflict.

Plus the turks blame the death of their soldiers in Syria on the Russians.

What other option does he have? He tried his best diplomatically, but the Western world would rather go to war than make concessions.

From his speech:
“At the same time, technology, including in the defence sector, is changing rapidly. One day there is one leader, and tomorrow another, but a military presence in territories bordering on Russia, if we permit it to go ahead, will stay for decades to come or maybe forever, creating an ever mounting and totally unacceptable threat for Russia.”

The development of a first strike nuclear weapon capability has been a primary concern in geo-political thought for some time now . A capable first strike nuclear weapon would destabilize the world’s geo-political situation. The possibility of a first strike weapon being placed in Ukraine is the primary reason that Russia cannot allow Ukraine to join NATO. It is also the reason Russia has invaded Ukraine. Russia will never allow the possibility of nuclear weapons being placed there — ever.

Come off it, mate. There's no evidence that NATO was planning to station nuclear weapons in Ukraine at the heels of accession.

Also, did you forget that Russia has a nuclear triad? For your scenario to make sense, the United States would have to completely ensure that all of Russia's nuclear submarines were located and neutralised in the event of a first strike.

Russia's ground based systems are also designed to detect nuclear radiation and would be automatically launched after Russia was destroyed.

I think it's clear that Ukraine was trying to get NATO to install nukes and Ukraine brought it on themselves. I don't care what the West or its supporters think.

It wasn't NATO that hinted at stationing nuclear weapons in Ukraine...

.. It was Ukraine that talked about developing nuclear weapons and that obviously wasn't acceptable to Putin and the security-intelligence establishment in Russia.

the bottom line is Russia did what it had to protect its national security in regards to an existential threat. I don't think I'll be shedding any tears over the world not seeing neonazis armed with nukes.

another thing is all this is way bigger than Ukraine and it isn't really about Ukraine.

If you scratch a West supporter, I think almost certainly you will find a liberal, atheist, homosexual, feminist, etc.

All of these infestations need to be dealt with and the sooner the better.

It is a global conflict about Western degeneracy versus religious and traditional values.

The West having its way will mean the elimination of religion, nation and family. The West has to lose and the sooner the better. And I believe it will lose. The supporters of globohomo aren't willing to die.
