Sabean theory

What is the nonsense on this threads pertaining to Sabean colonisation in the horn, it never happened there is no evidence of such. The Eurocentric garbage that they civilised us is appalling. The writing is also terrible. The Sabean theory has bogus written all over it, they could never have been the precursors.

There are multiple Sabaic writings in or around Saanag and the northern coasts, some users have theorised that T and J1 that share similar TMCRA were possibly Sabean elites that migrated into the horn 2k+ b.p with their families, this might explain the extra Arabian and 20% Arabic influence in classic Somali.

Regarding the Sabean/Ethiopian connection, there seems to be a bit of truth to that but that was older migration 3k b.p, at the height of Sabean influence, though Amharic is semantic it's heavily influenced by Cushitic lexicon.

Sabeans colonised parts of Eritrea and northern Ethiopia 3000 years ago.

This temple is an ancient south Arabian temple at Yeha where they worshipped the Arabian pagan moon deity Al Maqah

These are Ancient stone slabs with Sabaean inscriptions found at the same place Yeha, Ethiopia.

Because these Habesha never build it in the 1st place :russ: The D’MT civilisation (precursor to Aksum) was run by South Arabians. These south Arabian colonialists were absorbed and forgotten. The only thing left of their legacy in the Horn of Africa is the script, Semitic tongue and the Arabian paternal lineages and the high to moderate amount of the Yemeni Iron Age component found in the Habesha and neighbouring tribes.

I thought D'mt was a native Horner civilization. Where did you read that it was a South Arabian colony?

Their kings had the title mkr’b which is sabean title.

The type of construction used was sabean

The script was sabean

The deities worshipped were Arabian

Literally nothing was Cushitic about D’mt.

The most recent argument I hear from Ethiopians is that the Sabaean inscriptions from Ethiopia are older than the ones in Yemen and that they were locally written.

These xabash are hoteps :russ:

The Sabean culture is indigenous to Yemen. We can say this with confidence because we see precursors to Sabean culture with the Sabhir culture and Bronze Age Yemeni culture all showing affinities to Saba. We don’t see precursors to Saba in Ethiopia/Eritrea. Just fully fledged temples, dams, irrigation systems, script, religion etc out of nowhere. They can deny it all they want but the proof is out there. They even carry Yemeni paternal lineages in high frequencies those Habesha. They have been cucked :russ:

They legit claim Yeha temple is older than anything in Yemen and that the Gash and Ono cultures were civilizations that were precursors to Dm't.

Do you have any more information about the Sabhir culture and Bronze Age Yemen in general sxb? I don't know much about tbh

@The alchemist is an expert with archeological studies.

This is what I could find about the cultures of Yemen that predate the Sabeans

I remember reading about the diffusion of culture from the gash culture across the read sea to Arabia, a lot of trade was happening in antiquity.

Guaranteed if there were any 'exotic' ruins in Somalia all of you would cry if someone didn't give Somalis any credit for that civilization.

The Habesha only regressed in the last few centuries. They built one of the best ancient civilizations the world has ever seen in Aksum which was a recognised power.

Acting bitter and jealous is not a good look.

If we go by your logic then these Roman structures in North Africa were build by Berber tribes :russ:
