I want to revive this thread but the topic is still very relevant.
If we want good for the future of the ummah we gotta come up with some new answers to get out of this recessive rut that we are in. We cant simply do away all our social issues away by "old good new bad" or calling for a caliphate.
The Islamic world has been effectively rotting for the past 100 years or so we are behind in so many forms either it be social science or, liberal arts or military advances or science.
We are still in a point of huffing our own hype to even realize how far behind we are. One example of innovation is Micro chip technology when you look into how it work and is made its borderline magic.
If you keep up with the innovations you know how unimaginable stuff the west has.
Whilst we have a couple rich nations like the gulf they are not the centers of scientific innovation like America or east Asia( China,Taiwan, Japan, S.Korea)is all they can do is throw money at things.
Tell me how many great apps have Muslims created, how large many website owners are Muslims.
Muslims are 2 billion. ~1/4 of the world population where is our contribution?
The answers need to be new we cant go back to old tales of how niggas on horses conquered large empires. That framework has been expired since the Napoleonic wars.
It all needs to be started from three things Capital, Educational Institutions and Future thinking Religious clerics.
We gotta think future or we will just be known as the guy who peaked in high school but instead of gracefully falling into obscurity he became a violent schizo caveman.
