I am Sufi, the problem I have with Salafis is their constant need to tackle other sects of Islam, accusing Muslims who believe in Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) of shirk and blasphemy, while having no smoke for Saudi Arabia and its dealing with Western Nations.

It's complicated and multifaceted all you need to know is that the biggest source for salafis are sheikh ibn Taymiyyah, sheikh Uthaymeen, sheikh ibn baz, sheikh Al-Albani and Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab.

I wouldn't say Sufi is a 'sect' per say, from WIKI:

A sect is more like the Shia, yet Salafis have no problem allying with the so called "kuffar" against them, a Shia and a Kuffar, who should I be more likely to share a bond/relationship with? You tell me.

If you had a 16 year old sister would you allow her to marry a 26 year old man ?

It depends on the parents, some parents consider their over 20 girls child and others consider their 15-year-old girl to be ready for marriage.

I don't think any Muslim will have a problem with that. If your 16-year-old sister/daughter is in love with 26 years old boy & wants to marry him and you find the boy suitable to her, so be it, why will you object to it?

If she was mature enough and if the man was a good man I do not see the problem
