In the documentary-- Somalia was mentioned just ONE TIME- and that is say Somalia and Saudi have one major thing in common. The business of frankincense.

Literally-- Somalia and Saudia have frankincense trees that thrive in deserts,

This really crucial unmistakable connection makes me believe the somali man- possibly Darood was a Saudi arab man.

Also the second thing is-- Deserts and third is camels.

These really glaring proof says alot about Somalis being OG Saudis.

What say you?

Somalis absorbed Arabs into our clan structure, language and culture, unlike the Tigray and Amhara who shifted languages over from Cushitic language similar to the Agaw to semetic language.

It hasn't had drastic change to our genetics, we had commercial relationship and the occasional marriage.

As you can see from the picture below, Somali culture is very alienating, we barely mixed with Bantus due to us looking down on farming, this also probably has to do with our dislike of metal working.

I mean, Ethiosemites have 15+ Arabian ancestry that is why they are more Eurasian than Somalis this migration was about 3,000 years ago roughly from where we split from these groups we are nearly fully cushites, they absorbed semetic migrants, it wasn't a simple process of changing language, it seems yemenis migrated and mixed and influenced language culture and genetics far more.
than Somalis in reality.
Compare that to Somalis having only 5 Arabian on average at least, although what you said about culture etc, i agree with that statement
Probably closer to 2,000 years ago, the Afar and Saho who live right next to them haven't changed culture or language, even the Beja, I reckon their leadership intermarried with semetic-speaking people and shifted the language over time, eventually the poor learned this, similar to more French words got incorporated into the English language which is germanic in origin.

There are common characteristics between the two, horse riding, camel riding, Bedouin life and the like, but there remains a difference in many aspects

exactly! How can we ignore all these connections? Ethiopians do not have these connection so that shows they are furthest related to Somalis

Therefore we are connect to abel, Remember the story of Abel and Cain - Cain killing his brother? Abel was a sheep herder. Cain after killing his brother was condemned to a life of a nomad- roaming the earth. A curse nation never settle- they always migrate for greener pasture in a desert land! :damn::damn:

I am throwing darts and hope one fits loool

I am not an expert in genetics like you, but I want to ask a question, brother: Is there an ancient connection with Somalis and Arabs? Is Cushitic the result of the Natufian mixing with the East African component?

I'm no expert, nor a geneticist.

From my understanding, Cushites ( Oromo, Somali, Afar, Rendille, Agaw and what remains in the veins of Habeshas and Tigray lol) originate in the Red Sea Hills of what is now Egypt and Sudan, before the African humid period the only place livable in the horn was Ethiopian highlands.

We're not part Natufian(paternally) but are related, we're also not proto-Nilotic (maternally) but share a common ancestry that split off from them 20,000 years ago and this group intermixed with Natufian-like ancestry, forming what would become Cushites.

We've been trading with these people for thousands of years, culture is a two-way street.

There are actually a lot of similarities between the two cultures. Both good (e.g family oriented) and bad (e.g tribalism, identical cast system and "my cousin 8×removed money is mine" mentality). The Saudis themselves seem to be astonished by how much we resemble them looks wise and culture wise. In fact, when many Saudi from Najd in particular understand the Somali culture and mind set they find Somali culture closer to their culture than Iraqis, Egyptians and North Africans in general, levantines, and even Yemenis, Omanis and Southern Saudi Arabians. Saudi Arabia is basically a richer, luckier Somalia with less melanin and it resembles southern Somalia under Ajuran when it was visited by Vasco Degama and Ibn Battuta.
