Rickard Andersson, 35, is suspected of having carried out the worst mass murder in Swedish history.

According to consistent information, the man has lived in isolation and had mental problems.

He was denied military service – but received a license for four hunting rifles, according to Aftonbladet's information.

The picture of the life of suspected mass murderer Rickard Andersson is starting to become clearer. Consistent information describes him as a loner with essentially no social contact.

Documents from the Swedish National Service Agency show that the man was repeatedly informed that he was not eligible for military service when he came of age.

You and all other Swedish men are obliged to enlist in the year you turn 18. However, the Swedish Conscription Agency will only call those to enlistment who we assess have the conditions to be enrolled for military service or civilian duty or in a training reserve."

"With reference to the National Agency for Education's information, which we have previously informed you about, the National Agency for Education will not call you for muster," the decision states.

A loner

In an email to Aftonbladet, the Swedish National Service writes that the reason he was never called up for muster was because he lacked upper secondary school qualifications. Grade documents that Aftonbladet has seen show that he basically failed to meet any goals to get a final grade in primary school.

People who have been close to the man, and with whom Aftonbladet has had contact, unanimously testify about an individual with social and mental problems that began as early as elementary school.

After school, he is said to have lived in isolation.

– He's really a loner. He used to have a friend he hung out with a lot, but not now. He wants to be by himself. He doesn't seem to like people and stuff like that, says a relative.

Had a license for four rifles

Despite his mental health problems, the man had a firearms license for four rifles, according to Aftonbladet. During the crime, he is said to have carried three rifles and a knife, one of which was a standard hunting rifle with 30–06 caliber ammunition. There is also information that a shotgun was used during the mass murder.

To get a firearms license, you must pass a fitness test. The police conduct the test. One requirement is that you must have a hunting license.

Aftonbladet has contacted the police with questions about suitability tests for obtaining a weapons license.

"Due to high operational pressure at the moment, we decline an interview on the matter," writes press secretary Mathias Rutegård in an email.

Aftonbladet has requested documents from the police regarding the man's possession of weapons, but has been denied access to the documents due to confidentiality.

Crazy that people already knew the perpetrator's name 2 hours after the killings and it took a whole day for them to come out with name and picture
According to Swedish forums, the attacker is a Swedish man aged 35. His name is Richard Andersson. It was found out when a search was made at his home address. Very likely hate crime and racially motivated attack.

How on earth did he gain licence for firearms with a noted history of mental health issues

Apparently he shouted ”You guys are going to get out of Europe”
Ten people were shot dead when the perpetrator opened fire on the school in Örebro – at the same time, several students hid in different places in the premises.
On a film from inside the school, sounds from the attack have been captured – which TV4 Nyheterna has had analyzed.
– You should get out of Europe!, someone is heard shouting, shortly after two shots are fired.

Calls for filtering of the sound can be heard

TV4 Nyheterna has seen a film from the attack. A man hides in a toilet while the mass shooting is taking place. Several shots can be heard through the door.

TV4 Nyheterna has had sound engineers with special equipment analyze the sound and filter out noise and raise what is being said. We have had several people without prior knowledge of what is heard in the recording listen to the sound – all of them have come to the same conclusion.
