I am really looking forward to seeing these different Political Parties in the parliament. Those parliamentary debates are going to be something to witness. Imagine how hard it will become to neglect even the smallest tuulo.

I am looking forward to the parliamentary debates :banderas:

@cow Leave Puntland alone its none of our business.

  1. they claim to hate dictatorships but yet cannot even criticize deni for missing aid money
  2. they claim they are against extra judicial killing but yet deni killed 2 on the parliament floor
  3. they claim democracy but yet no one has actually been elected democratically
  4. they claim good governance and law & order but yet there are no independent courts
  5. they claim they hold their leaders accountable but the their accountability is elections and any leader can basically do anything they want for 5 years.
  6. they claim to have an constitution but yet it cannot even hold the president accountable and their argument is "do you want war"

where is their constitution? where are their independent court systems ? and where is their independent police ?

Faroole started the democratization process, the only problem he started it late and some people were against it, Deni started early so nobody can accuse him that he wants term extension.

Aboowe let me try to answer your points:
1: Faroole is saying that they are now building roads and the community needed that after the hurricane, what is this missing aid you are talking about ?. the foreign aid doesn't last, it's just food and clothes.
2-If you were a president and the speaker of parliament disagrees with your agenda and when you tried to get rid of him blocks the entrance of the parliament with his troops, what would you do?, personally I think most of the blame is on the speaker who saw the parliament will vote him off and used troops to block that.
3-I think if you saw someone entering a mosque you would've said: why didn't you pray yet?, let him enter first.
4- It's true that we need good judicial system, this is one of the points the opposition parties were talking about, the president didn't name a new chief judge after Yusuf Haji Nur passed away .
5- When the parties get established it's their job to criticize the government, and if they have majority in the parliament they can hit the government with vote of no confidence.
6-That's why we want this democratization processes so these opposition parties hold the government accountable.

I think i'm a Kaah woman for now. President Deni has delivered so far, may Allah give him a long healthy life and protect him from the evil eyes of certain people. Aameen.

Same here. Kaah has my support.

In a nations with rules laws and order a speaker of parliament can't be removed from the post just because he disagrees with the President only members of parliament can if the speaker was caught violating parliamentary rules.

I hope with Puntland democratization process that in the future a president wouldn't interfer with the parliament duty instead work with it and strengthen the separation of power of the executive judiciary and legislative branches and I think Puntland can achieve that.

Faroole is one in a lifetime leader. My second favorite leader after AY AUN

He was mine too until President Deni. He will leave the greatest legacy behind since our founding father AY aun.

I don’t know why @cow thinks this is an L. Faroole belongs to a rival political party and they’re gearing up for elections so of course he will criticize the ruling party. The ruling party is usually the favorite to come out on top and Faroole is appealing to his base, many of whom support Kaah. Does he expect this to turn into a subclan war or something?

Faroole wasn’t serious about it, neither was Gaas. President Deni has stuck to his promise and insha allah will see it through.

Cow and the rest of the Farmaajo fanboy cohort don't accept that we live for this type of political discourse.

They are trying very hard to deflect from the fact that their region (Gedo) is a warzone for Ethiopia, Kenya, AlShabab and god knows what else.
Meanwhile their able-bodied men are sitting online typing propaganda for their useless Aabbo Farmaajo 24/7 whilst the poor hooyos of Gedo have to cook quulle AND also defend their beta male counterparts.

No wonder they need to beg foreign men and Hawiye soldiers to babysit them, testosterone levels= ZERO.

Faroole and Deni are the best of friends, but they have different political ambitions in Puntland. Abdalla’s favorite quote is useful here so our little friend @cow understands the culture in Puntland: “In the northeast we argue heatedly but we do not shoot one another". This was said before the founding of Puntland so what makes him think Puntland will descend into chaos now? This is democracy at work and I hope to see more of it but wish it didn’t take campaigning for politicians to call the government out.

That's why I said most of the blame, you can't block the entrance of the parliament with troops and prevent law makers from doing their job, that alone is worthy of impeachment.

He should have been arrested, put on trial and sentenced for disturbing the peace. We don’t need to listen to criticism or advice on democracy from the likes of @Gantaal97 whose state routinely jails singers and poets for the most minor offenses.

I wish I had Faroole. The guy doesn't care about money. He cares about Puntland.

Faroole is one in a lifetime leader. My second favorite leader after AY AUN

Faroole was a shambolic leader.

He held no respect in Australia and none in Puntland either. Ask any Puntite in Australia, his corruption was too apparent.

Even our national broadcaster did a documentary on Faroole and his corruption.

Deni would be perfect if he wasn't too focused on Xamar/Konfur politics. I need a PL first agenda from him but when it comes to getting projects done and cutting corruption he's untouched.

There is criticism and there is disrespect, Deni is open for criticism he has mucarads going after him everyday including myself. Deni was openly criticised by a reer Mudug girl at the education conference held several months ago she wasn't harmed infact he took her criticism for what it was.
