For those following, 252 MPs are present and voting (out of a max of 275, minimum 180 is needed for a vote). You 50%+1 to win, so minimum required is 127 votes.

Hassan Abdinur (pro-Farmaajo): 98 votes
Aden Madobe (mucarid): 74 votes
Abdullahi Black (mucarid): 33 votes
Aden saransoor (mucarid): 23 votes
All others: 24 votes

It's now in the final round with just Hassan Abdinur and Aden Madobe standing, Black and Saransoor have both indicated they want their supporters to vote for Aden Madobe.

So off the bat, Madobe should have 130.

they did not give their word, they were just asked to vote for Adan Madoobe, paid endorsement doesn't necessarily mean the 50 odd votes go to Adan Madoobe, and even if most of them do its still a very close race, 98 votes of Hassan Abdi Nuur vs 131 Adan Madoobe half of them being "maybe" its still in Hassan Abdi nuur favour IMO

This should make it clear for everyone why the Garbahaarrey Gang were a necessity. Another 16 MPs for Farmaajo means minimum for victory is 135 votes and Hassan Abdinur would have had 114 in the first round needing just 21 votes in this round and the mucarid would have needed minimum 61 votes.

Only 10 mps of the 16 mps are from his clan

It was a 5 year plan for re-election that was stopped in its tracks by Madoobe and Rooble. They saved the nation for sure.

Now with 16 mucarad Ceelwaaq MPs in Presidential election should Madoobe win it’s time for Farmaajo to announce he’s not running for re-election.
