Yeah, I think so too. One of the reasons of joining this forum was to better know my heritage and interact with others that are like-minded. We don't find that many Somalis here up in north-Norway and especially in the defence.

This forum is mainly used to learn about Somalis and also to denounce corruption and politicians. It is a good platform.

Yeah, liking it so far but really astonished to the number of atheists and those with very controversial views. Goes to show just how little I knew of Somalis myself tbh.

Sxb @Hemaal you shouldn't be ashamed of anything. Just because a few dameers in power are making SL look bad doesn't reflect at all on the kindness, generosity and honour of the local people living there. Those people are why I'm proud to be from Somaliland.

Somaliland politically is what I like to call a family business and 99% of the citizens will not benefit one iota from ictiraaf in the unlikely it ever happens. The shamelessness and crassness of our political elite is not limited to SL, but it is occurring across the world as part of the global humiliation of the Muslims. As you can see, the time period we are living in now is very volatile, so don't let vain and fickle beings such as politicians make you lose faith in the goodness of your people.
