It's stuff like this that gives me hope for somalia's future. You have serious talented guys who regardless of who's in charge want to improve somalia and they're working in the background to get shit done. Odowa is one and this guy is another.

The diaspora is key to Somalias future progress. You have to be free from the group in order to change them, a diaspora president would do wonders for the country no doubt I hope more high skilled individuals return as Somalia stabilises

HSM is not a diaspora president. He grew up in Somalia, was educated there, worked in the educational sector and continued to be based out of Somalia.

When the civil war broke out he remained and continued to be a consultant for UN and NGOs.
