This actually makes me a lot more hopeful for the future of Somali educational system with just a bit more funding and stability Somali universities can easily be in the top 3 in the near future.

Lafoole University , it used to be Africa's top university.

Astaan Tv made a documentary on the history of Lafoole University and the process of retrieving university documents that were lost during the destructive civil war.

They have retrieved a pretty sizable collection of documents.



This also made me a bit more hopeful that there is potential to re-integrate the past with the present, when rebuilding our educational system again.

Still a useless university offering outdated courses like information technology, tourism, business. If it were serious, it would offer courses that benefit Somali society, such as engineering, programming, medicine, dentistry, and other meaningful fields that lead to jobs.
