That is where you are wrong. Religion and sexual orientation are not personal! They are aspects that interact with the society at large and influence it. They do not exist in some vacuum. That is why a healthy and stable society needs regulations for these important aspects of our identities and culture. Egypt and Tunisia are installed puppet regimes who exercise complete oppressive military control over the people. I am laughing you actually believe it is the will of the people that keeps them in power and not a collusion of state sponsored palace scholars and military that would kill thousands of civilians in cold blood without hesitation. It is quite difficult to initiate a civil war in those circumstances but the polls have consistently shown that when it is a choice between Islam and wretched nationalism without any outside influences spreading lies and mischief among the populace that the people in both nations overwhelmingly prefer the Islamic system. The same sort of structure cannot ever work in Somalia unless you have one clan ruling all the institutions and the military which is impossible and even if it was not impossible would still lead to civil war as factions split into their sub clans.
