Alot of styles that use to be masculine, but are now either considered feminine, or unisex (something both genders can wear). In the middle ages European, Asian, and Middle Eastern men use to wear pretty flamboyant clothing in today's standards. Men use to wear heels, colorful clothing, and some cultures wore what is now considered skirts and dresses. Men use to wear make-up too. Middle eastern, and North Africans would wear eyeliner, and European men would powder their faces, and the ancient Romans use to do nail polish, but during the industrial revolution era things started to change. Men wore more bland clothing, and women started to wear heel, and make-up, and in WW2 women started to wear pants, and suits. Most of these industrial revolution, and post war styles still live on in our modern society today, but things started to change recently.
Flamboyant culture for men started to be promoted again. What first started with only gay men wearing make-up, and dresses, skirts, and bright flowy clothing you know see straight men doing the same. I believe in the future skirts, dresses, and make-up will either go back to being masculine clothing, or become a unisex style.
What do you guys think of this?
I have no problem when men dress in either unisex fashion or unconventional pieces that aren't the typical shirt+pants duo that is expected of them to wear but still made for men. Laakiin it's when I see this....
