SNA thread

Operations have picked up in Hirshabelle , these offensives are planned months in advance.

Most of it is around Jowhar and Bulobarde region.

I have a feeling the game plan is to clear the way to connect Xamar to Jowhar to Buloburde and finally to Beledweyne. It will isolate Alshabab completely to SWS and Jubaland.

However its multi faceted, operations are currently underway in all states.

There are no operations in All states. JL has their own set of operations since the N&N regime politicized the war on terrorism. The only operations mentioned are those in middle Shabelle. Daynunay few kms from Baydhabo was a former Military base for some clan militants stationed there before it was captured by As.

The base was empty since they only claimed 3 people died. FGS retook it in a few hours, Alshabab is no match to FGS they just do hit and run attacks.

Defeating Alshabab is an intelligence endeavour, restricting explosive materials and identification systems is paramount.

8000 troops are in SWS region, I believe after SWS is cleared then FGS can push north into JL. However there aren't enough troops, we need at least 20k well trained troops. Right now we only have 5-6K.

1 thousand troops are enough to fight them if the government was any serious in willing to which they aren’t. Somalis can’t be trusted to field more than 5 thousand troops otherwise if a dictatorship arises or the regime ceases to exist they will be dissolved and become clan militas.

According to the SNTV report tuulos around the town Deynuneey were occupied by Alshabab.

Local security forces + Police quickly countered the harassment.

We should note that the British are helping to train local forces in the region, SWS is suffering under Alshabab but has seen most of the fighting against them over the last 2 years.

latest reports = cap. Farmaajo is former president he can’t sign off anything. 5000 mercenaries couldn’t save him. Turkish Military support policy in Somalia needs to be reviewed and restarted. Their support to a central regime in a federal government/country will not be accepted otherwise they will be humiliated and chased out like previous foreigners.

As expected, Daynunaay was a failed hit and run. SNA will be suprised at how easy Alshabab can be defeated . The main thing slowing us down is training police officers to protect each town.

IEDs can be stopped through banning materials, in the field Alshabab has no chance of defeating FGS. Also any large scale Alshabab troops would be met with airstrikes.

It really is hunting season. The hard work of this administrations labour is finally bearing fruit.

Unfortunately the next administration will claim full credit lol.

They are saying Hiran region,Middle Shabelle nonsense to throw us off. We want to know the districts. It’s the usual Jowhar and Bulo Burte areas they’ve been operating in since 2014.
