I was rummaging through my mums suitcase full of SNM memorabilia and found this. Both parent are member of SNM. Dad fought in the war. Found loads of original letters being sent to my parent from different headquarters from around a the globe. This is one of many.

May upload more documents in the coming days.

God bless your family and all SNM patriots :salute:.

My father was a member too, and he still has his membership card and everything. They used to mail them from Washington D.C as they didn't have a Canadian office!

Oh shit that's some golden stuff. God bless your father. :salute:

The SNM was a sophisticated group. They had ID cards and local branches all over the world and were organized.
It's the reason why it lasted for so long. It was a grassroots people's movement.

Your father's membership dues probably financed Siilanyo's drinking habits when he was SNM chairman. The old man must be pleased with him. Has he sent him an honorary porcupine through the mail yet?

You need to laminate them, scan them, never lose them. That's a piece of history.

In sha allah. That's the plan! I found itineraries, secret letters and cassette tape recording. Must archive all these!

i don't understand why you're having a parade tho?
10 years of guerrilla war and a declaration of independence later, the place is still unrecognized and people are eating porcupines out of starvation. i'd say this was a failed mission :meleshame:

I'm not one to argue with people regarding somaliland/Somalia. So take yourself and your negative nancy remarks and shove them up the darkest place you find within yourself.
