We do bear our fathers name, and its for the reason you state. I have been meaning to really take a close look on this matter for myself as it pertains to Muslims and I eventually will. Its good to see that there are others whom believe in its worth. I will keep in mind what you said.

There are lots of Somalis in foster care. I don't think many are adopted though. People prefer to adopt white or Asian babies and there are very few Black people who sign up to be adoptive parents (who knows what their racial preference but I imagine its not overwhelmingly Black).
