Somali ancient history pre Islam

I'm pretty sure Nomads back then were more concerned about where they were going to sleep and what they wanted to eat then what god they worshipped.

Personally, If I was a nomad I wouldn't believe in monoatheism whatsoever. It doesn't make sense.

Do you understand that in the North of Somalia there were Christian and Jewish cemeteries and urban ruins (from the Axumite Period)?

Somalis weren't all Pagan Monotheists,
but also Jewish and Christians.

Stop rationalizing.
Waaq/Eebe worships weren't monotheistic.
Otherwise, Mazdeism was purely monotheistic!

It doesn't make sense, Islam doesn't consider Mazdeism as pure monotheistic religion.
Waaqism was just proto-monotheism mixed with some African Animism.

I'd take Animinism over any religion
