Do you understand that in the North of Somalia there were Christian and Jewish cemeteries and urban ruins (from the Axumite Period)?

Somalis weren't all Pagan Monotheists,
but also Jewish and Christians.

Stop rationalizing.
Waaq/Eebe worships weren't monotheistic.
Otherwise, Mazdeism was purely monotheistic!

It doesn't make sense, Islam doesn't consider Mazdeism as pure monotheistic religion.
Waaqism was just proto-monotheism mixed with some African Animism.

I'd take Animinism over any religion
:hemad:
African Animism nigga whatt tf you on, go do research :drakewtf::drakekidding: not all africans practised polytheist religion and why it's impossible for you guys to believe that Somalis are capable of something, yóu guys have some inferiority complex uff :susp: i hate laangaab niggas

Stop projecting nigga.

Nobody said that s can't build anything.

But Africans believed, as nearly the majority of them, in Animism.
Basically; anything, alive or inert, has to be taken carefully since it has its own value.

Japanese people are the most well-known (and successful) out of all the Animists still alive.

It's not a backward practice, and Somalis were not homogenous.
Most were Animists Lamagoodles though.

you just saying that that Somalis practice Animists and have no research backing it up and it's who projecting, stop putting all Africans in a box, we are not all the same, if we live in one continent doesn't mean we practice the same TF #AFRICA IS BIG,

The old religion “Waaq” I think could be considered “henotheistic”

Henotheism is the worship of a single, overarching god while not denying the existence or possible existence of other lower deities. Friedrich Schelling coined the word, and Friedrich Welcker used it to depict primitive monotheism among ancient Greeks.

Loyal To The One True Caliph (Hafidahullah)
Even the name "Ayaan" was a spirit of luck in Waaqism. "Wadaad" means shaman priest.
