When I was kid back home, they used to say if you sit on a turtle, you will stop peeing the bed (or some obscene saying like that). The poor turtle had two problems now--a bunch of crazed kids trying to ride it's back and it being a turtle. Innocent/dumb sayings can have real life consequences for other species we cohabitate this earth with.

U gotta love our folks LOL but on a real note Somalis have alot of respect for both duurjoog(wild animals) and dadjoog(domestic animals)

It genuinely pisses me off when I hear about 'Somali wild asses'. This is upsetting because I don't know whether they are talking about donkeys or Somalis in general.

NOPE I think u mean saqaro they are not rare but all over da place ive ate it too when I went back...It's called dik dik but the other gazelles no1 hunts even madibaans

It taste LIIIIVE iunno how to explain its just too iunno I'm at a loss for words. Me & my cousin when iwas in the badiyo caught 1 all you gotta do is point a flash light to its face and it gets dizzy then it's easy to catch

I hunt moose. Meat is somewhat sweet tasting. I have a cabin in rural Alberta Canada. I planned on getting electricity and water to it and just live off grid for a while. I'm working on it at the moment. I would live off hunting wildlife. Lol

No they don’t sell it. You have to catch it yourself. I was in baadiyo when I had it.

You also need to realize that there are no inspections. If you grab a deer from the woods, it's at your risk whereas if it came from a slaughterhouse and there is some regulation in place, it's not so bad. That's the biggest downside.

I don't subscribe to that I believe erryting that's processed and put through a slaughter house is worst than how Allah intended for you when I was in the badiyo we would slaughter livestock tell me how that meat was the best meat ever better than any processed meat in Toronto
