this is news to me it’s apparently the largest basketball club in Uganda and part of the BAL the basketball Africa league is affiliated with the NBA it’s like a developmental league for African players

The football club that he owns (SC Villa) just won the Uganda title last year. By all accounts he’s a good owner.

In the Tanzanian league (best in East Africa and probably top5/10 on the continent) the CEO of the best team is Somali and the CEO of the 3rd best team is Somali too.

He’s the chairman of the African clubs association basically he’s Florentino Perez/Pat Riley of African football

He’s really good to him and the club they transformed from being average to being top 3 over the past 15 years. They are very self sufficient
They have the best academy in East Africa and they have a partnership with AIK @Avalanche
