I mean Maybe rape doesn't happen alot but it does exist and it would be foolish to ignore it

Ive seen and heard about families that symphatize with the guy, some who blame the girl,some who beat the living shit out of the guy and some families that actually settled by agreeing on a certain amount of money for their daughters rape

Somalis blame the victim and make excuses for the rapist. I've seen it first hand and it makes me so fucking angry. Rape culture exists within our own culture but due to the fact that Somalis believe in stupid shit like ceeb and honor we never discuss these things nor do we try to eliminate them from our culture.

Somali rape victims are not only victims of rape but also victim of public bashing and scrutiny. Somalis genuinely believe that a man can't control himself and therefor it is the woman's fault if he violates her. I've seen Somalis judge a 14 year old girl that was raped after school on her way home.

There's nothing bad about being a feminist. Feminism should be introduced to savage Somalis like the one above who believes rape is avoidable.

Seems like people forget that the majority of rape victims actually know their rapists. It's usually a friend, a coworker, a class mate, neighbor or a relative.
