And in Oman, they don't claim Somali, they call themselves Daarood and their surnames are their Harti Qabiil names and for the MJs, they use their sub-clans as surnames, like "Al Siwaaqroon".

How come they donβt claim Somali ?
Theres also members of my clan who were absorbed by their Saudi abtis i forgot what tribe but they travelled to see Hartis in Oman.
Saudi Arabia has an equivalent to the Omani Daroodis?
From what I've seen, they are called 'Daaroodi' and have their clan abtiris names. They are very much in touch with their Harti clan elders and people.
Their Harti ancestors left Somalia, before it was even a country.
Nah just a small family but they in the 100s apparently

Main clans present in Oman @Ximan iyo Xadeed seems to be mainly harti no other daroods present
There are some Ogadens too but majority are Harti clans
Found them they are called Al-Sawamel(Somalis)

Interesting but it makes sense for harti to have descendants amongst arabs due to seafaring history
