Thing is Asians are pretty much respected in the states. Imagine if a bunch of African Muslim immigrants came out in support of someone who killed a white woman? The best thing to do is wait for further developments because things do not look good as they are right now.

And for the record I think you're severely overestimating the view of Somalis over there. I still see articles demonizing Minnesotan Somalis for a multitude of reasons. I'm telling you, the best thing to do is to stay quiet until further developments in the case occur, right now it would reflect badly on Somalis if they openly support this cop

It's pretty obvious. Cadaan folks only look out for their own kind. The very least we can do is support the Somali cop even though he'll most likely be prosecuted.

Exactly! The Somali community needs to lay low, it's in our best interests to do so. Am I saying we should toss this cop to the wolves?
