Somalis in the West can legit be lightskin (like my mom and several of my siblings). In the West we’re protected from the sun and a harder lifestyle, so our skin is lighter.

But I would for sure be skeptical of a light skin person living in Somalia. How do they not become dark af? The only thing that explains it is Diana.

Most somali girls are mariin or lightskin. Rarely do i see pitch black.
