Having so many kids without being able to provide for them is a major reason we're stuck in a cycle of poverty. It seems like the first-generation geeljire immigrants were the problem, while the second generation likely grew up in developed countries and embraced their lifestyle

It’s because they do arranged marriage and are connected,parents and grandparents take their time and look for spouses for their kids which is something not in our culture

I heard it stemmed from people wanting to keep property/political power within a caste or specific family
