They are later arrivals in North America than Ethnic Somalis. Most from here are aware of that. As I said, he fled and came in the 90s while most Somali Bantus first arrived in the early 2000s with some much later (like the family in that article which was dated Oct 2016).

He doesn't look Bantu, though. Look at those people in your search. They look normal Madow. Nothing like him. But I suppose he could be an admixed reer Madowweyne.

Most barely have Somali admixture. In fact the Kikuyu are more Cushitic leaning relative to them.

Of course they're not. It's not helpful for anyone to think about racism being everywhere and regarding themselves as victims. I keep saying this on this forum and I am constantly called a white lover and a coon.

It's even a bigger achievement considering his party lost power and lost more than half their seats. His white constituents still voted for him. You can do whatever you set your mind to. This is a message for the young kids here to not ever let negative thoughts of almost non existent racism consume you.

This is not true. I've seen DNA results for Koonfur Somalis from RX to MX to Hawiyes of various sorts. Bantu admixture is pretty much nonexistent. You will only see the rare person showing 0.something % "Southeastern African". Even studies using Koonfur Somalis have shown that once you control for the clearly Bantu individuals; the rest are identical to northerners. The only part of Somaliweyn where Bantu admixture is somewhat noticeable is among Sijus and even then it's mainly the more old strains of Somalis down there like the Degodia and Ajuran, the other tribes of that area I've seen DNA results for turn up identical to anyone in Puntland or Somaliland. This whole "The south is Bantu mixed" shit is just some nonsense northerners (mainly SL folks) push to exaggerate how different they are from "Somalians". It's complete bullshit for the most part.
