why is she trauma dumping on an unserious show like first dates? this is not how you spread awareness. doing it on a trashy reality tv show it's just gonna make the other person uncomfortable. i dunno girl, time and place.

The way y'all talk about her gives me big Yeonmi Park vibes , y'know, the North Korean defector who turned her so called trauma into a whole career, even though her stories keep shifting with inconsistencies, exaggerations and she'll jump on anything from dating shows to far-right podcasts depending on who's listening.

It's the same playbook Ayaan Hirsi Ali used: tweak the backstory, feed Western audiences the 'barbaric East' narrative they wanna hear, and ride that grift all the way to the bank. At some point, it’s less about truth and more about what sells.

Yes what she did was wrong. But the Somali community has a serious problem. Somali incels are all over the replies and quote tweets. Since when is darkskin (a go-to insult used by them) even an insult, and FGM, something to mock and berate Somali women about?

Also the guy who made this tweet isn't even Somali, he said so himself. It begs the question, What percentage of Somali men would you say are a part of this crowd and what implications do you think it will it have later on down the line? OP @EainA2 is definitely one of them after calling a woman "cheap and clean."
