She is not blaming the Somali name for any of her antics or using it as a personality trait. This is not a Somali ceeb, it is her individual issue to handle.
From the clips, this man is clearly fixated on her and trying to make it seem like she is the issue. He keeps talking about her unprovoked and even asked her what she thinks about him. He asked her if she thinks he is masculine, for example.
This girl is learning the hard way to never touch a man in a "friendly" way, unless he is her mahrem. Especially not some British Madow guy who needs validation on his masculinity. These are the types to try to demean women to prop themselves up.
Hannah only represents herself and sheβs very at odds with how we as Somalis on average conduct ourselves. Touching random men is a no no, especially on national TV. Iβm cringing, but I hope she learns from this because anyone thatβs been watching this knows itβs actually the madow man that has been fixated on her, not the other way around but because sheβs been touchy and affectionate heβs now interpreted it as a way to suggest more when for her itβs clearly in a friendship and brotherly way. We need to follow our religion and not get too comfortable and doing this on TV is worrisome indeed.
Like I said, Hannah is an individual and the average Somali girl wouldnβt even go on TV let alone hug someone on 4K TV.
