Abdillahi Yusuf did one good thing which was establishing the federal govt and removing us from this stateless vacuum, for that he will be remembered but he also left behind alot of losses such.as returning sacad after USC who had all Somali govt weapons was defeated and disarmed of it. We lost alot of men and he just brought them back. Their death was pointless. Strike 1
Strike 2 was accepting 4.5, and also how he sub divided darod portion, this was two slaps in all our faces. Strike 3 is his absolute silence on JL which Sharmarke had to endorse and assist thru thru Prof Gandhi the founder.
One win, but alot of clan losses is what we see also plus it's not just short term losses, this is 20 years and stretching losses.
Me and my father after analysing it we wrapped it up as Abdillahi Yusuf was ambitious about villa Somalia but more so for changing the chapter on SSDF legacy, he didn't want to die being remembered for that. So personal ambitions, a change of legacies. We also assume he intended to disempower Majertens due to animosity and opposition within it. We backed him mainly because he knew the mindset of moryans and anything post 91 till now is the moryan era where as the other guys were still running around as if it's the 1960s to 1991 era. We were also impressed he wasn't a slave that is bought with money.
As for Jama Ali Jama he was bought and sold by Abdiqasim Salat like a slave we even have Ali Khalif on the record admitting he sent money to him like a slave and told to fight PL, bring it down, and put them all under Hamar, especially the north and south thing.
When all is said and done and it's easy seeing things after the fsct, we faced two bad choices but gee, one though was a damn very dangerous one like Jama Ali Jama, trust me U wouldn't be sitting in here talking like a man if that man won the civil war in PL.
As for YEY, everyone speculates but we just leave it as he was a mysterious man, mysterious ideas, and mysterious conclusion. But the climate Somalia was in and even today, he was the least worst option doesn't mean he was the best he just wasn't as bad as Jama Ali Jama.
