In order for this to happen somalis will have to stop selling cattle to Middle East. That will be hard because reer miyi need money and there is no real industry back home.

Back to square one. Country is kept up by aid and remittances. None of these sources haven’t been used to create any real industry. Not even low hanging ones like meat and fish processing plants.
No real factory exists back home.

Shidaal is our only way out. It looks promising but Im anxious. If it fails, we are fucked. Resources are needed for development, there is not a single developed country that made it without having resources.

. The south should gets investment until we are food secure . people shouldn’t be jealous this aid money from west not from your pocket . Property rights should be secured and people from all walks allowed to invest safely and grow food whether from west or other regions . The only resource we have today is diaspora who send billions but that money goes straight to imports and nothing sustainable built because of lack of security and infrastructure like roads and electricity. Hopefully we find oil but even if we find it will take long time to drill probably 7-10 years

As for your point regarding Wadaad, listen when your a failed people and nation and u can't tolerate the pain and suffering anymore their is 2 options.
