Somali government deploys more troops to Gedo

Heres dubbe being questioned by journalist yday. About 4 or 5 of the qs are why are gedo getting all these soldiers when bay and bakool have been cut off for years and no one can go by foot from xamar to gedo. Condescending much? I always find it cringe when jealous people say why is Farmaajo send aid to Gedo, as if Gedo isn't in Somalia, it literally constitutes the entire northern part of Jubaland.

I look at people who say this stuff and the politicians they support, shows me who the enemies are, how can you ignore a region that borders 2 countries in the midst of corona virus epidemic, how can you ignore region that is under siege by Kenya, has severe flooding in the east and drought in the west, terrorist just to the south of it.

Its completely insane walahi dad badan baa magac ku weyn doona ka hadalka Gedo like Deni. Farmaajo should do more for Gedo, this simply isn't enogh, let the haters die in their rage.

Mashallah good point bro, the drought might have ended with the Gu rains, but the affects are still felt as people have lost their livestock, alhamdulilah we have raised more than 50,000 dollars, I think FGS delegation also provided 100,000 dollars as relief. But more needs to be done.

We need expertise to help us maximize the harnessing of the Gu rains, when I go back home I am going to plant alot of trees, and help build up awareness of the importance of trees to keep the doog for longer, we can maintain doog for more than 5 months in the year, we can increase it to almost double that, as well as storing hay and other livestock food for the dry seasons in the winter.

As for the security, Gedo is getting is fair share brother since, independence Gedo haven't gotten anything, and Farmaajo also only started doing this the last 2 years, prior to that he was completely ignoring Gedo.

Anyone who says anything about Gedo is jealous, that is like talking about when Farmaajo send 2 million to Qardho for flood relief waa ceeb waxaas ma laga hadlo.

My grandpas siblings have been telling us not to visit due to a strong al-shabaab presence in Garbahaarey. Everytime we send money al-shabaab takes it as tax. May Allah help the miskeen people of gedo they are not involved in any qabil conflicts or political tension but are in the worst position out of every region.
