Most of those countries on the graph are far better of than Somalia even if dependant on oil
We will be naturally inclined to continue being entrepreneurial and most definitly we will have a diversified economy
What I personally want our Somali oil to achieve is a mass funding of infrastructure, hospitals, schools, military and police & we the people will make our own success like capitalists we are
Indeed, but these countries have a balanced economy with different industries sharing the economic circle.
Oil might save us if we invest the money into the right industries, we need to fill our essentials first though: Agriculture (for food.) and Infrastructure.

The qatari money has been used to suppress devolution in Somalia and bribes were used to break states and cause instability.

Somalia once had the biggest salt factory in the world. The Hafun Salt Factory was established in the Hafun area in northern Italian Somalia. The factory was destroyed by fire during the British conquest of Italian East Africa.
In recent years, several other minerals have been produced in Somalia including gemstone, sandstone, niobium, granite, tantalum, and marble. It also has deposits of several other non-metallic minerals such as kaolin, silica sand, feldspar, and limestone. These minerals are mainly explored by artisan miners on a small scale. There are also small deposits of copper and iron ore in the country.

Interesting Somali mind-set. This is what I wud ask listen dude 'foreign dept or presidency' iska cilow, no offence u got better traits suited elsewhere. The world isn't about aggressive, they all turn away then and say 'it's not worth the hassle' and then u remain poor still.
The world is about coodination and cooperation now and it's a world of 'i need something what u have and I have' and aligning it and signing agreements. We have an abundance of natural resources. The strategic location of our ports. We can even become a airport stransport hub.
The beauty of our nature and on top of all. The rather small somali populous. Even oil can easily sustain us for the coming 100 years. Since we got more oil than the entire middle east.
