Shared this in another thread a few days ago, that there is a thriving business community in Turkey

It's not simply about reputation, it just history that shows Somalis emigrated to places and made name for themselves as important merchants/business men. Which is a historical trend that stands to this day.

They even have business street corner called ''little Somalia Street''

I would have much preferred had these investments been back home, but for now it is a good start to go from corner shops to larger investment projects. One step in the right direction at a time!

Somalis invest more in Somali regions than anywhere else, but they also invest in areas they live in abroad as well as a way of creating economy opportunity for themselves.

They actually building one of the biggest malls/hotels in Africa in Mogadishu, shared this in another thread:

There is also major projects being built in Mogadishu that will dwarf those towers built in Kenya by Hass
