All the south asians that can’t pronounce Saddiq with the qalqalah and say Saddik.What Somali can't pronounce Arabic names? Every consonant in that language is in ours. I've seen this with some West African Muslims, doe. Girl went by "Hawa" and pronounced exactly like that. I looked at an Arab friend once and said "Why give her a name she can't pronounce?" nacalaa. But anyway, I hope to see a resurgence in maryoole names like mine but I doubt it will be so.![]()

Actually they do:98% of Arabic names Somalis name their children are Muslims derived. I have never met Somalis named Rami, Maher, Fadi, etc.
