and at the risk of seeming ultra sgw(cuhz thats a bad thing here) let me ask this: why are somali men still given (undeserved) respectability compared to other ethnicities?

somali men get away with a lot of things that in other societies are unforgivable. it's okay for somali men to neglect their filial duties, and they are never held accountable.
