this isn't about you low-lives-forum-poster. foh. somehow yall always end up making it about yall or about your jealousy of ajnabi men stealing "your women". the reality is that majority of somali women marry somali men. so why so pressed? acudubillah.
anyway. this is about the men of our fathers generations, who are missing from their kids lives. who don't know their kids and didnt help with raising the kids with money or otherwise. they werent away bc they were working... they just weren't there. one extreme situation is this family of two kids and a mother and an absentee father. this guy comes back into the families life after the youngest turned, what 5? 6? stayed for less than month, knocked up the mother and then left. and no one had anything to say about why what he did was messed up or how it effects these two kids who are old enough to notice what's going on.
this isn't an attack on somali men, far from it. this is the fact that despite all of this, these horrible excuses for men can still have a good reputation and respectability within the somali community. and frankly it makes eber sense.

Beneficial for who? Do you even have an inkling about how divorce settlements work in west? The mother gets custody of the children and the husband has to pay alamony and child support to her.
