no, im full somali.
my parents are just very westernized, and only speak to me in english.
most of my extended family live very far
and i didn't grow up in a city with many somalis.

i actually get excited when i get somali uber driver... it makes me happy that my money is contributing to their income, even if it is small amount...giving em a tip makes their day ....

they talk about the most random thing ever,, which is nice compliment to my journey

Its embarrassing kulaha, how so? The man is only doing his job and is probably making conversation with you because you're the first Somali person he picked up all day. Tip them well, waa ina adeerkaa and never give up too much info on yourself if you're really that worried about your Somali encounters.
