They're a perfect match for each other. They stop completely all of the qeylo and buuq that would be 99% of their marriage to a farax, they suddenly learn to cook gourmet meals, and they have absolutely no issue if their man continues to be a deadbeat. They're happy and we should be happy for them. 
If you really want anyone to blame, it's the parents who failed them. Instead of finding them a suitable man from the tol, they instead accept the proposals of these bottom of the barrel losers. If these ex-cons were to approach Pakistani or Arab parents, they'd either be laughed out of their homes or, depending on the mood, would be violently beaten by the father along with the older brothers and any other male relatives around. But no, these self hating parents would gladly give away their daughter to any cadaan xoolo that comes through the door reciting the shahadah.
