Is the word 'dee' at the beginning/end of a sentence in certain sentences like ''soo dheeg dee'' mainly used by northern somalis or universal to all somalis. i don't even know the exact meaning of it but I know its a shortened ''haddee''.

An interesting dialect difference is probably this
“waa imaanee/imaahee” (southern( banadiri specifically )vs “waa imaanaysaa” (northern)

I feel like it's used most at the end of a sentence while requesting something, I might be wrong. I'm not too sure as my family is from Xamar. Shit lowkey sounds a lil aggressive though 😂😂

You can have it at the start of sentences as well.
It’s used to put an emphasis on something, usually something very obvious. Funny enough in Western Africa (especially sahelian regions) they use it in the same way, from my understanding.
Exemple :
“- Maxaad saaka uga baxday maanta ?
- Dee sabtida sidoo kale shaqaan leeahay”
