I heard somaliland pays shabab away not because the people wouldn't do it. There is a difference, somaliland is as fragile or even more then mogadishu as clan runs far deeper into society then most places in the nation. Just a little clan effect can send that place into civil war and it's in their interest to pay shabab to stay away. Heck many notable shababis live in somaliland, their is a relationship that's for sure, the question is what will happen if somaliland doesnt allow them to reside there? it's damn ON is my question.
Puntland doesn't allow them to operate at all and won't be held hostage because the longer they hold you hostage, the more others will try that approach. We don't believe in giving them or anyone an excuse to follow their path and see it as beneficial path to take. We want them to see bullets in heads basically if they try that shit over there.
