My reasoning for this claim is have you ever seen our government or States doing anything towards development?
We've had this kind of government since Carte.
Even south Sudan with it's active war have surpassed us in terms of development.
Even Taliban who just recently took over their country have achieved things that we haven't achieved since Carte 2000.
There's no Strategies, policies and studies developed to tackle big problems like security.
For a country that deals with so much insecurity, no studies were done in our security, no Strategies were ever developed, no policies were ever considered. Just acting according their aid donors.
The economy was also ignored the same way, education and health care were ignored in the same way. Diaspora were never utilised to tackle the economic hardship in our country.

Foreign policy was never studied, strategized and examined to improve it.

Justice, laws, taxes were basically ignored.

Famine, draughts, natural disasters, diseases were also ignored.

So what the hell are these guys doing for 25 years?
I've never seen anything they've achieved than pleasing their aid donors.

Sometimes I think the IQ 68 is actually correct and the majority of our people are basically mentally incapable folks rooming on the streets.

Thanks bro, you expertly articulated what I have been trying to tell everybody for a few weeks now. I even created a challenge post telling people to tell me 1 thing the government has done that isnt by the mercy of time. None. Any development thats happening is being done so privately by the evergrowing monopolies in somalia which is really gonna be a pain later on. We really have been subdued as a people. Very sad.

The taliban have done so many beneficial projects and singlehandedly dropped crime and terror rates to near 0% they done so much that somalia has been struggling to do for 30 years in just a few years.

They have a dowlad, they have a government. You can ask any competent somali now that isnt a khat fuled qablist and they will tell you there isnt a government. There simply isnt one, we are a failed state.

Taliban, they were fighting for that many years and now look, they are EONS ahead of somalia. I cant even cope with this, everyday I wake up hopeful that something has changed. But no, same old same old. Fatty hsm and whatever other presidential goon there is would be stuffing their face with food and signing away the countries right in return for pocket change. There is no hope unless something big happens. Thats what I have concluded. Even a new president wont save us, I am more then certain

I think youre taking it too far here, I think we are demoralized as a people. After the civil war directly fueled by the west, everyone is content by the colonial government we have now that does nothing but divide aid money amonst themselves and sign away the country. I mean your arguement does have some bearing but I dont think we r3tarded as a people, I still have some hope that change will happen.
