Somalia enters military cooperation protocol with Egypt

Geylan reported earlier this year that Masar will be given 4 military bases. Two of which will be along the border with Ethiopia. I'm assuming Gedo and Bakool. Ethiopia has both ATMIS and ENDF troops there. If Ethiopia is dislodged and a chaotic drawdown occurs, I'm afraid they will leave a cache of weapons for Shabaab to take.
