Somalia should forget football until corruption is expelled. Don't expect the team to ever qualify for any major tournament if we have leaders stealing money from the commitee.

Too many ethnic Somalis in that photo for my liking. And not the right type either they got @Jungle @IKHALIIL midget farmer nephews in here not enough lamagoodles.

I’m not tuning in the rest of you can, looks like it could be a cricket score. Uganda and Tanzania already got pummelled and they’re better than us. We might be the worst team at this tournament
You seem like a glutton for punishment with all your Somalia sports hope threads mate.

My track threads are pretty positive because we’re actually good at that
Somalis to football are what Filipinos are to basketball
Tbh I don’t think there is a good football culture in Somalia. Basketball culture has done wonders in the balkans, fat asses like Jokic and Doncic that have high basketball iq and skill can overcome their abysmal lack of athleticism. Spain also has a great football philosophy and doesn’t rely on physicality or pace, it’s mostly skill and iq. We don’t have any of the above. We have zero philosophy of any kind for the game, just random players thrown out there and the result is predictable. Imagine if Somalia actually had a philosophy to build out its game around the high endurance level of its athletes of something.

Bringing this thread back, Somalia play tomorrow against Tunisia U17 6pm Morocco time.
The match is once again available on FIFA+ for Free. It's probably not available in the USA (for whatever reason) and maybe a few other countries, but Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia were not having issues with connecting. The match begins in 35 minutes.

EDIT:

FIFA+ is working in the United States.

I was quite surprised when the commentator stated that there was a 14 year old starting for Somalia. Nonetheless, the u-17 for Somalia are starting to settle in after going 1-0 down.
