Firstly, Somalia does not recognise Israel as a country. So it is breaking the law by recognising its national airline.
Secondly, the airline is required to request permission to use Somali airspace for that travel route. Somalia is allowed to reject it or accept it at a cost.
Yes, Israel could just ignore our refusal and fly anyways but the Somali government didn’t entertain this possibility because they just took the money without question.
In any other country, accepting the violation of our airspace by an unrecognised entity is a massive controversy and could see the resignation of officials but this is Somalia.

This is fake news as Somalia always allowed Israel to fly over of its airspace, I remember is seeing a wiki page about 7 years back of states not allowing Israel to fly over its airspace, Somalia wasn't on it even the UAE was.
