I think it was an ok election and the election observers backed it up.Even if you don’t support somaliland independence they had a free and fair elections. Most of the discrepancies happened in tuulos which weren’t properly guarded :Furthermore cirro lost by a large margin so there was a clear winner.

There wasn’t enough time for it to be reduced to 2 parties or until a non clan based party to come into the scene. It takes quiet a few elections. Somaliland only had a few and in the 60s we only had 2 elections or 1.
