Not saying it would benefit Somalia as a country. Rather it would serve the interest of individual Somali businesses in those countries that might want to expand back home.

There is no benefit here. It will only harm somalias domestic economy... well whenever it does start growing once hsm the stagnator leaves and a proper leader comes. But from what i can see, the only type of economic transaction going here is Money going out of somalia while khat from kenya comes in.. this open market aspect your foolish fisherman brain is glaunting about only makes it easier for this fully legal daylight drug trade to occur. Massive deficit in money too, we are quite litterally relying on aid its so angering. Even once somalia develops. The businesses and industries will be dominated by the other countries in the bantu bloc. All of our domestic development would be overwhelemed and overshadowed by the cheaper stuff coming in from the rest of the bloc. If powerful countries like america need massive tarrifs. Imagine a country like somalia. The only reason why youre naive self dosent the effects is somalias failed status and terrible transit system. No trains no roads.. only express airplanes for khat.
